Your conferral is your chance to celebrate and recognise all the hard work that went in to achieving your qualification.

Conferral ceremonies are highlight events in Local Institute's calendars and are proud occasions for both graduates and their families. A graduation ceremony will be held for each of our Local Institutes - Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Sligo.

*Only members who successfully completed a qualification and accepted the associated designation during the period 1 Jan 2019 to 31 Dec 2019 will be invited to the 2020 Conferral Ceremonies.

You won’t be eligible to attend the 2020 Conferral Ceremony if:

  • Your employer is holding an in-house awards ceremony during 2020. Your designation will be conferred to you at same by the Institute
  • You completed a qualification and didn’t accept your designation. You won’t be invited to the Conferrals – as the Institute only confer designations
  • You completed a qualification in Jan 2020 (this was your last exam sitting) and have accepted your designation. These graduands will be invited to the 2021 Conferrals.
