Membership is renewed at the beginning of each calendar year.
If your membership is not automatically renewed at the start of the calendar year, you can log into your Member Area to renew your membership.
An individual seeking support must have been a fully paid up member for a period of two years prior to the year in which support is being sought and must be experiencing a significant change in circumstances during their career in order to be entitled to apply for support through the membership support scheme offered by the Institute.
Applications will be considered from all members who have been made redundant or who are on evidenced long term sick leave.
As part of the scheme, the Institute will grant you complimentary Membership (i.e. at no charge) for a year; and, if you are a Post-Qualified Member, this complimentary membership will provide you with full access to our CPD supports and service.
If you are a Pre-Qualified Member already engaged in Institute studies, you will be allowed to sit any of the Institute’s three APA/CIP exam sessions in the year in respect of which your textbook and examination fees will be reduced by 50%.
