The Higher Diploma in Insurance Management, which was previously referred to as the Management Diploma in Insurance, is now a Level 8 qualification and has been recognised on the National Framework of Qualifications.

Moving on to the Chartered Insurance Institute's ACII

If you're thinking of pursuing the ACII qualification in the future, the Higher Diploma in Insurance Management is an excellent way to start. The programme mirrors the scope and standards of the CII’s equivalent UK modules and upon successful completion of the Higher Diploma, students are able to use this qualification to obtain 135 credits towards their ACII application.
