How it works

The Management Diploma in Insurance (MDI) gives you in-depth and specialised insurance expertise, as well as greater business acumen at management level. It also allows you to accumulate credits that count towards the Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) qualification.

Completed CII exams

If you registered for exams directly with the CII in the past, please advise us by emailing or calling 01 645 6670. This is to ensure that you don't register for any MDI exams that correspond to CII modules you have already completed.

What's next?

  • Once you earn your MDI, you'll be able to claim credits towards the CII Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII).
  • After earning the ACII, you'll be well on your way towards earning the industry's highest professional qualification – the Fellowship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII). Learn more
