DLA/DLDU/DLDC

If you hold the Diploma in Life Administration (DLA), the Diploma in Life & Disability Underwriting (DLDU) or the Diploma in Life & Disability Claims (DLDC) qualifications, you are required under the MCC to take part in a formal CPD scheme. 

Qualified and Grandfathered Persons with DLA, DLDU or DLDC designations are required to complete 15 formal hours of CPD including:

  • 1 hour of CPD for each function you undertake
  • 1 hour of CPD related to ethics.

ACII/FCII (Life Administration) designation holders are required to complete 35 hours of CPD, at least 21 of which must be structured/formal. 

If you are CII qualified and also work in a regulated role as defined by the MCC, you must also comply with the Central Bank of Ireland's CPD requirements within your CII requirements; i.e. 15 structured accredited CPD hours including:

  • 1 hour of CPD for each function you undertake
  • 1 hour of CPD must relate to ethics.
